This article is about how Elkhart, Indiana is being affected by the down fall of the economy and the decreasing numbers of unemployment. A resident, Yvonne Sell says "When you open the newspaper, unless you want to be a topless dancer, there's nothing", regarding the unemployment chaos. The unemployment level was at 15.3% and soared 10% within the past year. The people of this town are struggling to make ends meet because of the state the economy is in. Many residents of Elkhart are unhopeful that change will come about and bring us out of this economical situation. The people of the town are pointing fingers at the banks and the government, in which have already been "bailed out" according to Sell. I honestly believe that it's going to take a lot of hard work and dedication to come up with the formula to solve the economic crisis we are all experiencing right now. The numbers of unemployment are through the floor, making it harder for families to get by and you basically never know if your the next to be "laid off". I think that the best way to visualize these circumstances is to stay positive and be hopeful of change, but expect it to take a lot of time and devotion.
